A change of pace

While I’m continuing to stitch my cup-and-ring marks, I thought I’d show you a couple of other projects.

Some impromptu cord-making with #12 Valdani perle cotton …

And Don’s latest yard art (the base of the one on the left will eventually be filled in by marigolds) …

And I almost forgot the salad … arugula and red leaf lettuce mix, fresh mandarin oranges, celery, cucumber, queso fresco and chives with a light citrus vinaigrette …

Gotta love springtime eating!

    1. Making cord is mesmerizing … I got into a rhythm and didn’t realize how long I was at it until a blister started to come up on my left hand

  2. Did I already tell you Liz that Don needs to have his sculptures in a gallery? And thank you for sharing that great video, Got too give it a try.

    1. I’m sure he’ll be delighted to know you said that, but right now we still have room on the fences and in the garden for Don’s creations and I love them too much to give them up

    1. I must say it’s fun to look out my back windows … now if I can just convince the Don and the grandkids to refresh some of the metal art paint …
