Looks like the Rio Grande River Gorge near Taos; if so, sure hope it went better for you than in 2018 but you both handled the situation very well. Now then, an interesting place to visit in this part of the world is Hacienda de los Martinez. (Martinez was my maiden name but no relation to the folks at this place!)
