We went to the Assemblage Contemporary Gallery tonight …

in order to meet artist Debbie Carroll …

seen here at the far left.
Everyone was (mostly) masked and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her while viewing the aptly named Big Picture Show …

Makes us appreciate Last Light all the more.
beautiful work!

my pictures don’t do it justice as there was strong evening sun beaming in the windows, so I added a photo collage of her work …

LA -so good you could get out and enjoy the art and meet the artist; and great that most folk take covid seriously and mask up when they are told. Cheers. B

we are fortunate to live in a county where the locally elected representatives have been both informative and responsive … people have responded favorably by and large, for which we are grateful

it was both wonderful and a bit terrifying … so many people in an enclosed space (even though the door was open, it felt claustrophobic)

I’m still working up to going to the farmer’s market. It’s more of an issue of still practicing my busy street parking skills after years of not driving though… 🙂 I am sure the artist was happy to see you and all the others that showed up!
