This tome arrived at Christmas …

then spent the past week stitching more triads until I had about 50 on hand. Yesterday I started to stitch them onto the table cloth base …

So far so good … and I’m especially pleased by the overall wonkiness since I often feel like my stitching comes out a little too “perfect.”
I’m also pleased to report that my New Year’s resolution to send text messages to our grandkids to celebrate each day on the Sandra Boynton calendar has continued apace. I especially enjoyed celebrating Popcorn Day with G …

and made a deconstructed cherry pie for Don on Pie Day …

which led to some wails of anguish from those who were unable to join us for dessert 😉
