As much as I love my recently completed ikat bag, it seemed too light-colored for winter. So I gathered up some cloth from A Stitch In Dye to make another two-sided bag.

As I stitched the outside-for-now, I found myself thinking of red pepper ristras, turquoise, Adobe blocks, and rich red chili salsa …

And then, turning to the inside-for-now, I recalled the rosy pinks of the high desert and the powdery blue/green of the Chinle formation …
