
Time flies when you’re having fun and this week was no exception. The kids had a blast together and the magnetic tiles came out more than once. Since Ellis is still in deconstruct as often as building mode, G reconstructed his tower several times over …







Friday was saddle-up-to-leave day, but we made one last stop at Allen’s Boots before heading to the airport …







And then, in the blink of an eye, they were gone …

Except not … because it wasn’t enough for Southwest to mess up Heather and Logan’s arrival … they messed up their departure, too! So while Don drove back to the airport to pick them up, I broke down the Cowboy Camp and set the stage for some impromptu overnight glamping.
No pictures (yet), but we did do a little shopping in downtown Buda where Lo found some awesome jeans at a little boutique …



Process notes: I’m not sure if the July 1 patch well remain as is … the cloth is from a super sheer cotton skirt that I pleated and patched into tiny squares …

But after seeing Jude’s post, I’m thinking I might try something different.
That sweet pink cloth was a gift from Tina … who coincidentally sent a comment yesterday just as I was stitching the red boot appliqué. And as I looked up Tina’s Instagram URL, I had to laugh when I saw her most recent post …
