I first got to know Acey last year during a month of Collage Challenge. It was an amazing journey, so I was delighted to see a new, but different kind of prompt on her blog this week: to make a braid of yellow threads.
It didn’t take much effort to find the right threads as I’ve been using yellow and gold all week. I quickly braided three strands together and back-stitched them into a piece of Burnley and Trowbridge linen …

And really, the through line is as simple as this: it has been a golden week …

I love the elegance and simplicity of this braid, and the golden thread of hope…

Liz~ How glorious your golden is…how it trails into HOPE.
I especially like the reflection in the window, how the outdoors looks like a soft, golden calico background.

you seemed so taken with the prompt I felt certain you would do it and wondered what your braid would look like. It is very Liz. and thus quite wonderful
