The patches for the last few days are still in my head, waiting to come out. But yesterday, I felt like just doing this …
So that’s what I did.
And this morning I woke up thinking I might limit my strips to about the length of this windowsill …
because the light is so good, and because it’s hard to photograph anything that’s too much longer.
Anyway, I will post the new patches as they appear, probably more than one post per day rather than an extremely long post of multiple patches.
Until some other plan occurs to me … which is almost sure to happen.

I like this idea – and at the moment there are 12 and that’s a nice number, and if they were smaller there might be 13 and that too is a nice number – all good!

I like not having any idea what size a patch will be beyond the 1.75″ height of each one … so whatever length the 31-day January strip of patches ends up being will set the standard for the rest of the months to come
