For the first time, I tried to unstick some elements of a card/collage, with unhappy results.
So, the torn up Seven of Pentacles has been sitting on the window ledge along with a tentative Four of Pentacles for the past week …

I’m not sure why, but the Pentacles have been the most challenging of the four tarot suits. Anyway, today I snapped out of it and got the revised Seven glued down …

along with the new Four …

- 78 Degrees: when life has broken down into chaos, the Four indicates creating structure … turning emotional and mental energy inwards
- Kitchen Table Tarot: this is about protecting … being sure you are cared for before you can adequately care for others
- Creative Tarot: but security is often won by shutting out freedom
The connection to Little Bluestem is hard to explain, but it is the extreme rootedness of this grass that makes it one of the four iconic prairie grasses and therefore an exemplar of structure and security.
Since I really don’t have any more to say about that, here’s another bit of revision …

One of Jude’s moons from the cloth US II …

recently taken out of its frame and now becoming a part of the new bed cover/blanket/quilt.
Ugh … I really need to name this project.
Oh! I really liked the 7 of pentacles in it’s first iteration but that was then and this is now with every week is getting more surreal…

I’m not sure I’ll ever be okay with this one … which is probably meaningful if I take the time to figure it out

I like how this seems to be a time for revision Liz. Renewing, renovating and re-working our work. Interesting…

it’s a bit of a dilemma, especially with this new-to-me collage work … do I continue to work on things I’m not exactly happy with, or do I leave them as examples of what not to do next time?

Is Earth well-represented in your natal chart? Stressed? I wonder if the disarray of 7 was needed before landing on the stability of 4.

I only recently learned about natal charts and though I googled one together, I confess that reading it was a bit beyond me … that said, there is the reality of disarray versus stability in much of my life, so I’m inclined to agree with your reading

Yeah there’s a lot to know. But one easy thing you can do is get a count of the elements. How many earth signs? How many air, etc.

now I’m intrigued … will have to re-google

One other thing. If considering all the planets feels like too much, it’s revealing to focus on your sun, your moon, and your rising sign.
